We just wanted to tell you how great the two days of touring were with Graham. We thoroughly enjoyed going on the cape peninsula tour and wine tasting with him. He was knowledgeable, interesting, accomodating, and fun! Thanks so much for a wonderful time!

Dear Hennie, Hakuna Matata, it was such a lovely and unforgetable experience. Can’t stop thinking of going back toAfrica 🙂 Thank you!

We’ve been to Kruger many times but our short trip with Hennie was quite the most rewarding, not because of luck in seeing animals but luck in striking Hennie who has such a wide knowledge of the whole ecology. He is as at home identifying raptors as flowers as has the hunter’s eye for animals. One word of warning — if you have not got a sense of humour, give Hennie a miss !!

We had the time of our life on a great 12 Day Special Photography Trip toBotswana, January 2007 with Hennie of Hennie’s Adventures. Apart from the 100% professional treatment you seek when booking a trip from abroad, we enjoyed a great adventure in Southern Africa, driving overland in a solid, comfortable vehicle, sleeping in quality tents and and eating excellent food, while listening to the guide’s vast knowledge about local culture and wildlife, as well as countless tall tales! Hennie’s Adventures offers extremely reasonable pricing, as well as a very personal and entertaining travelling experience. Enjoying a barbecued filet mignon on an open fire under a starry sky in the middle of the Okavango river delta, watching elephants by the hundreds cross the road in front of us in Chobe and feeling the ground shake under the onslaught of the Victoria Falls are only a few of the highlights from a fantastic trip. Especially impressive was the degree to which Hennie’s Adventures organized the entire trip and accommodated our very specific photographic wishes and delivering the optimal conditions for our photographic safaris – you won’t find many companies offering that amount of flexibility. We are already planning our next trip with Hennie’s Adventures, a tour company that you can trust completely to offer you a good, honest deal, ample value for your money and loads of travelling fun, and we won’t hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend them to all you other travellers.

Together with 12 other travellers, we made an unforgettable trip through South Africa in Feb 2005. Over almost 5000km fromCape Town to Pretoria via the winelands, the Gardenroute, Lesotho and Swaziland with Hennie Louw as our guide/tour leader/driver. It was a fantastic experience! Thanks, Hennie!

We have had a well-varied safari in South Africa, saw a lot and laughed a lot! Hennie is an amazing guide that gets along well with people and has a broad knowledge, as well as an answer to every little “problem”. We had a great time!

In April 2007 we booked a wine safari with and was guided by Hennie Louw for the whole day. Hennie made this for us a really pleasant trip thanks to his enormous and widespread knowledge not only of winemaking but also of history, sociology, nature and also by his very kind way to explain and answer our many questions. It was a perfect day and if we come to Cape Town again we surely will book a trip with him.

Much better even than expected. I have learnt a lot of things, so many places unforgettable! Fantastic food, really good driving and perfect guiding! It was my first trip toAfrica but not the last, for sure. A thousand thanks!

My husband and I spent a delightful day on the Fine Dining Tour with Hennie as our guide. He met us at the front door of our hotel inCape Town, and drove us to Stellenbosch, where we started off with lunch in the shady courtyard of one of the wineries. We then visited three wineries and tasted an assortment of wines, with Hennie educating us about the different wines and suggesting what to sample. One of the wineries also grew olives, and tasting a raw olive that Hennie picked right off the tree was an education in itself. We ended the day with a leisurely dinner at a fine restaurant in Franshhoek before Hennie drove us back toCape Town. The countryside was gorgeous. It was a fun day chatting with Hennie about wine, South Africa and life. Plus, with all that wine sampling we were lucky we had Hennie to be the driver on the way back.

During our brief stay inCape Town, my boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at the Derwent House. We were also able to arrange a wine tour through the hotel. Hennie was a great guide and showed us a good time (although I don’t remember too much of the end of it!) The winery tour is a must-do! I learned a lot…and got more than a bit tipsy doing it…

Hi Hennie, We just wanted to thank you for organising such a great trip for us on Tuesday. Your flexible approach meant we could do exactly what we wanted to do. Graham was absolutely great. He was knowledgeble and made us feel very relaxed. It was like being shown around by a friend. Thanks again and we hope to see you again sometime
